FETA CEO to play major role at inaugural Building Services Forum
Russell Beattie, Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA), is to introduce the CPD-accredited seminar programme at the new Building Services Forum (February 8th, 2018, at The Building Centre, London).
The event is aimed at a wide variety of building services professionals, including consultants, contractors, specifiers, building services engineers, facilities managers, building managers, HVAC engineers and those who are just starting out in the profession.
This inaugural educational event has attracted wide-ranging support from blue chip companies and trade bodies that are prominent within the building services sector.
Explaining FETA’s support for the event, Mr Beattie said: “We are keen to support this event, exploring as it does the challenges and opportunities for the future of building services. Ultimately this is in the interests of everybody across our society – and indeed wider, if we take an environmental view – and not just our own members.”
He continues: “We pride ourselves on being an innovative sector but equally we have an increasingly aware and well-educated consumer base, keen to adopt change.
“Coupled with an increasing push from national and international authorities to drive energy efficiency and environmental agendas it is inevitable that further change will take place. That said, it is equally important not to fixate solely on high end new builds, be they domestic or commercial.”
Headline sponsor, Remeha, comments: “The Building Services Forum provides a timely opportunity to join with key industry professionals to share expert knowledge and successes, spread best practice, and identify solutions to future challenges.
“With CPD-accredited seminars from industry luminaries covering a range of topical subjects – from protection against cyber-attacks to designing healthy, intelligent buildings to the role of the Internet of Things in building services – there will be plenty of food for thought.”
The Building Services Forum has its own dedicated website, where you can book your discounted ticket for just £175, find out more about the seminar programme, and check out all the latest news about the event.
